Our national vocation director, Sister Margaret Michael, sent all of us Sisters a list of young women who are seriously interested in religious life as Daughters of St. Paul. Many of these young women have visited one or two of our convents and spent some time in prayer and every day living with us. Please pray for them that the Holy Spirit will help them in their discernment process.
Next month I will be giving a presentation on St. Paul in a parish in the Philadelphia ARchdiocese. Although I have given many talks and Power Point presentations on our pratron Saint, I always keep finding more about this Saint. For reading that is easier than some of the more scholarly works, try the "Paul for Everyone" series by N. T. Wright. He is a Biblical scholar who has the talent of being able to present very scholarly tomes and other more accessible works for the person whose time is limited. Our Pauline Book & Media Centers carry the St. Paul for Everyone series. Their contact information is at wwww.pauline.org.
May St. Paul's example help us to reach the goal of being able to say wholeheartedly, "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me." (See Galatians 2:19--20).
